What is the Mecha-Play Mecha Points system?
Mecha-Play will be giving away select bonuses to buyers, through our Mecha-Play Points system. Mecha-Play referring points can be redeemed for discounts, promotional items, and more. In short- if you like our product, and have purchased in the past- you have a chance for great discounts or incredible free items, including the chance to gain a free, customized suit.
How do I earn points for referring people?
The simplest way is to just tell friends, fellow anime or mecha fans, and family members about the program, and tell them to include your name, or Mecha-Play Moniker when they order. You cannot get points more than once from an individual. Unless a referring customer later purchases a complete suit- at which point, you will gain the upgraded points.
You will get 50 points for referring someone, but only when the person you referred orders a product themselves. You have the opportunity to earn 100 points if the person orders a complete suit kit- this is the only way to earn the last 1000 points.
What is a Mecha-Play Moniker?
A Mecha-Play Moniker is a personalized Mecha-Play ‘name’ given to people whom order from us. This allows you to maintain anonymity online but still be referenced if you win prizes, wish to refer someone, etc. The Mecha-Play moniker is included within your Mecha-Suit or product manual, listed as the “Pilot’s Name”.
How do I refer a friend by email?
If you are sending an email to a friend to let them know about us, and/or the referral program- just remember to include your Mecha-Play Moniker, or name and a description of Mecha-Play at the bottom of the email. Remember that they need to include your name or Mecha-Play moniker on the form for you to get credited.
Remember, Mecha-Play does not condone spam- we actually despise it, and those who produce it.. So, please- do not send bulk email promoting Mecha-Play products to people you do not know, or to people who you’re not sure would even want the email. Do not post messages to forums or chat rooms promoting your Mecha-Play moniker or name where such behavior is not appropriate- if we find out about it, you’ll be investigated, and may be banned from purchasing Mecha-Play products.
Why haven't I received my referral points yet?
Honestly, this could be because of a number of reasons:
*If the person has not processed their order (ie- not paid us),. You will only receive your points once they have ordered a product.
* If the person's never listed your name or Mecha-Play Moniker on their order form, then the referral was not registered, and you will not earn points for it. This could be because they did not enter your Mecha-Play Moniker or your name on the order form, or because they made a mistake when entering your Mecha-Play Moniker or name when placing the order.
This cannot be fixed, as we have no record to show that you referred them. It is your responsibility to ensure that the people you refer enter your Mecha-Play Moniker, or name correctly.
*The referral was identified as fraudulent by our system, and or the persons order in question was cancelled.
* The referral was identified as having already been used by someone with the name or address given during ordering (the order attempted to gain you a second referral from the same or potentially the same individual.)
* You have reached the limit of 90+10 referrals* and you no longer qualify for the Mecha-Play referral program.
Fraudulent orders and referrals
You can not gain points for, or have more than one Mecha-Play Moniker because we only allow one Mecha-Play Moniker per individual. Our system will detect duplicate names, email or street addresses, attempting to do so will be considered in violation of the Terms of Service.
Attempting to create or bolster references through dubious means is also a contravention of Section 178BA of the Crimes Act (NSW) 1900, or the equivalent in other States, dealing with offences relating to obtaining money or other valuables by making false or misleading statements.
Conviction of such crimes can lead to imprisonment for up to five years
Attempts to engage in such conduct on your part will lead to the immediate termination of your ability to continue business with Mecha-Play and may lead to further prosecution in a court of law.
What’s this “90+10” referrals you mention?
Well, while Mecha-Play loves the support from fans- we’ve decided to impose some limits to help prevent abuse of the Referrals program. Hence- the 90 +10 section. What it means, is that you can refer up to 90 people- (4000 points, at 50 each), and if they buy something from us- you gain your 50 points. The “+10” means that you need at least 10 people you refer to purchase a suit kit. Not only does that rack up points fast (at 100 a time), it gains you that last 1000 points towards the ultimate goal- a free, customized suit in appreciation of your support, and a chance at the VIP club.
How can I earn points for referring a business to Mecha-Play?
Mecha-Play does not offer rewards for referring businesses to Mecha-Play.
How do I join the Mecha-Play Referral Program?
Entry to the program is granted to each purchaser, unless opted out of during purchasing. Once you have gained 100 valid referrals, a Mecha-Play member may contact you. If based on that contact, you agree, and are chosen- then Mecha-Play will then be granting you a permanent VIP status in regards to new info, opportunities, discounts and more. You cannot apply to join the Mecha-Play VIP club.
Although you may keep track of referrals you have made, please bear in mind that Mecha-Play will do this automatically.
If I a get a referral (and referral points) when does that take effect?
Referral points go into effect typically within 5-10 business days, however delays can occur. Please notify us in a civilized manner if you believe there is an error, and we will respond ASAP.
If you just reached 100 referrals and have been granted VIP status, it may be up to 15 business days before you receive your membership packet.
What might the referral points be redeemable for?
Mecha-Play’s referral points system is flexible, and can be redeemed for many things. Points are cumulative, and continue to grow- however the special offers and discounts cannot be used more than once. At the accumulation of the point limits (to be finalized soon), you will be granted one-time-use coupon codes.
Tentative examples include:
50 points: 5% discount on any 1 accessory item, excluding custom orders.
100 points: 5% discount on any 1 accessory item, or accessory kit, excluding custom orders.
500 points: 10% discount on any 1 kit or item order, excluding custom orders; plus you get a special bonus.
1000 points: 20% discount on any 1 kit or item order, excluding custom orders, or special edition kits; plus you get a special bonus.
4000 points: 50% off any 1 kit or item order, excluding custom orders, or special edition kits; plus a special bonus
5000 points: Free specially marked suit kit.
What are these special bonuses?
Well, they are yet to be determined, but may include everything from a free accessory, accessory kit, upgraded item (ie- laser tag compatible, or DOT approved item, etc), personalized pilot figure for inside the cockpit of the suits, or possibly even something way more interesting. You may get offered a choice, or- we may just surprise you. However- rest assured it will reflect the work you’ve put forward in promoting Mecha-Play.
Mecha-Play VIP Club Program
Mecha-Play offers a exclusive VIP program to select affiliates and buyers. Typically an official Mecha-Play membership packet will arrive at a VIP members mailing address within 15 business days. Within that membership packet will be the Membership card, with unique ordering code options, further information, options, a special forum identifier, and more. It will be worth it- we just don’t’ want to let the cat completely out of the bag yet.
